Join us for a night of comedy when 2 1/2 Persians presents: More Funny People (Who Are Not Famous) - Hosted by Paul Farahvar with comedians Jeff Arcuri, Chris Bader, Kevin Brody, Elaine Osgood and Chris Paladino.

Across from the Improv Olympic theater, noted for improv comedy, a growing number of stand-up comedians gather weekly at Merkles for “2 1/2 Persians Championship Open Mic Night”. Every week, comedians are judged by a panel of audience members, until finalists compete for the weekly title and a chance to perform in a highlight showcase. The latest batch of champions are performing Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Lincoln Hall.

Bader and long-time friend Paul Farahvar started 2.5 Persians in January 2012 and quickly helped cultivate some of the city’s best underground comedic talent and one of the most popular open mic rooms in the stand-up scene. Host Paul Farahvar is no stranger to Lincoln Hall. Having promoted events there as a band manager and musician for Shoeshine Boy Productions and various flailing bands, he recently began his efforts at comedy. "I suck as a musician so why not suck at something else?".
