Blake Zweig Dandelion Record Release

8:00 PM   21+

Blake Zweig, singer-song writer of previous Chicago bands Small Town and Stacked Animals, will be joined by cellist Seth Woods (Small Town) and drummer Mike Kinsella (Owen) as he finger-picks and sings his way through the meaningful melodies and heart-breaking, yet heart-hopeful lyrics of his new album Dandelion. Dandelion features the acoustic, melancholy, somber sound he’s been writing and performing for over 15 years. To some degree, Dandelion is a retrospective on the last 10 years of Blake’s songwriting, travels, friendships, relationships, and his return home to Chicago after moving around the country. Dandelion will be Blake’s third full length album. His previous release, Small Town’s It’s Not Here, was featured on WXRT’s Local Anesthic show.
